Pitch@IllinoisTech is idea competition aiming to inspire students to engage with the community by working in teams to come up with a solution to a real problem and think creatively while pursuing what they are passionate about.
Throughout the competition, we host seminars and workshops to prepare the students for the final pitch. The students will go through a series of different stages, and from the initial teams that apply, the top 10 will pitch their idea to judges from startups, VC firms and organizations in the Chicago area.
Have you ever dropped a project because you were going in the wrong direction and were too trapped to pivot? The Summer Starter Fellowship (SSF) is a summer-long program where students will learn about design thinking methods that will help them move forward with their idea. With frameworks within the design innovation process, students can set themselves up with flexibility and therefore a higher chance of success. For more information, contact Andrew Guardia, our Fellowship Lead.
